This course is designed to introduce young learners to the basics of playing the ukulele. Over 8 weeks, students will learn fundamental skills, including tuning the instrument, basic chords, strumming patterns, and simple songs.

Join us for a fun and engaging online ukulele class designed just for kids aged 9-14! In this course, you'll learn the basics of playing the ukulele, including how to strum, play a few simple chords, and even perform a song. Whether you're picking up the ukulele for the first time or looking to improve your skills, Miss Faith will guide you every step of the way. Bring your ukulele and get ready to strum and sing along! Learning Objectives --------------------- -Understand the basic parts and proper handling of the ukulele. -Learn basic strumming patterns and tuning methods. -Play a simple song using the learned chords. -Gain confidence in performing and sharing with others. No prior musical experience is required. Be ready to have fun and enjoy making music together! At Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy we have a strict NO BULLYING rule. We believe that it is crucial for learners to have a safe space free from bullying and judgment. We expect learners to respect each other and be kind to their classmates at all times. We will not tolerate bullying in any form. However, we will give students an opportunity to correct their behavior before they are removed from class. Behavior issues are handled as follows: 1. A verbal warning will be given to the student. 2. Student will be placed in a waiting room or break room (depending on the severity). The teacher will chat or have a verbal discussion with the student and student will be allowed to return to class. 3. Removal from class (no refund will be issued)

Strumming Patterns
Learn the basics strumming patterns, Apply strumming patterns 35 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Expanding Chord Knowledge
Learn new chords, practice transitioning between all learned chords 35 mins online live lesson

Miss Brandy created Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy to provide a safe place for kids to learn and play games. As a mom, she knows the importance of providing outlets for children that will allow them to interact with their peers and gain much needed social skills. Miss Brandy knew from early on that she wanted to pursue a career where she could teach and have fun doing it. With that in mind, she uses a teaching style that allows students to come to class confident that they can be themselves without judgment. She has been lucky to have taught students from across the world, with different learning abilities and different backgrounds who have had a meaningful impact on her teaching style. As an enthusiastic and devoted Educator, she strives to pass on her love for learning to her own students while encouraging them to be themselves, strive to be their best and embrace their differences.
