I will introduce the proper posture, paper position, and the strokes used to form the letters for the day. I will model the letters on the screen - with visual and verbal prompts. Then, one letter at a time, students will trace the letter in the air (with a magic wand!) and write the letter independently on lined paper. The gross motor to fine motor progression helps the student remember the proper form and technique for each letter. I will provide feedback in terms of size, spacing, slant, and shape for each letter during the class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to write the letters in lowercase.

Supply List
Please bring the provided handouts, a pencil, and a regular ruled notebook to class. Magic wand optional. Handouts will be provided. These handouts will be used during class. The same handouts can be used for additional practice.
