Students will learn how to use appropriate letter formation with writing uppercase letters. This helps improve their writing legibility and can improve writing speed as they get older. This class, in the flexible schedule form, allows students to self pace, take breaks as needed, and participate on their family's schedule.

I am trained as an Occupational Therapist and I have worked with children in clinic as well as in the school setting. Many times, I see children struggling with handwriting whether they have a disability or not. It can be because they are uninterested, they have hand weakness, or because they simply have not learned proper formation. This class focuses on teaching proper letter formation, which can help a child for a lifetime in developing legible writing and faster writing speed. While I am an Occupational Therapist, this class is not a therapy session. If your child has severe weakness or apparent development delays, it is best to speak with your pediatrician to determine the best options for them.

Homework Offered
Students will complete the workbook pages with the letters that correspond to that week. Students/parents will uploaded finished pages for the teacher to view and give feedback as needed. 

(Optional) Students are encouraged to post a picture or a video completing some of the songs or activities the teacher teaches during the video lessons. You can be as interactive as you choose to be!
