Hi! Thank you for checking out my class! I am so excited that you are here! I am a certified occupational therapy assistant and work with children daily on their fine motor and handwriting skills to increase their academic success. In this flex class your child will learn all of the basic writing mechanics such as where to start at the margin, staying on the lines, proper letter formation, sizing, spacing, etc! Your child will receive a new video, hand exercise, and handwriting prompt every Monday to start their week over the 4 week class section. Throughout the week your child will be encouraged to post their homework, feedback on the hand exercise and of course any and all questions they may have. I will respond daily to all comments and homework postings with personalized feedback for each learner. I currently work with children daily on their handwriting skills and have plenty of tricks up my sleeves, which is clearly provided in these quick and easy to implement videos. This class will provide great insight for your learner in a fun way to increase their success at home and in the classroom by teaching them new handwriting skills that will be remembered long term. Week 1: October 17- Hand Strengthening Week 2: October 24- Using Our Lines Week 3: October 31- SPACING Week 4: November 7- Check & Correct Your child will be provided with the following: -Workbook -Various lined paper options -Handwriting Checklist -Weekly Homework -Week hand exercise videos -Personalized teacher feedback (once homework is received)
