In this one time class, learners can bring their hamster to class, socialize with others and learn about hamsters. Don't have a hamster? You can still join us to learn fun facts in case you ever get one. This class can be taken multiple times. Meet new hamsters and friends everytime!

Class Experience

Does your child have a hamster that they would love to talk about?  Are they thinking of getting a pet hamster and want to learn the ins and outs of owning one?  As an elementary teacher for over 17 years, I will build upon your child's desire to learn about animals, as we come together and learn new facts about hamsters through each other.  I will start the class off by introducing my hamster DJ and teaching learners some fun facts about hamsters. Each learner will then get a chance to use...

Students will work on conversational skills to share with us their pet hamster or why they'd love to own one.
Students will work on turn taking skills.
Students will learn new facts and information about hamsters.
Students will learn to ask and answer questions.

Please bring your hamster to class or any questions you have about owning one.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
