I will introduce students to the hamburger method to writing a paragraph. I will model the writing process and then students will write their own paragraphs on a topic that I will give them. Students will then share their paragraphs with their classmates. If needed, we will critique and rewrite. After students work through one paragraph with my given topic, students will write a paragraph, following the method, on a topic of their choice. Students will share their paragraphs with the class and we will discuss.
