During this session, students will learn how modern roller coasters like Disney’s Thunder Mountain and other mine train themed rides work. 
They will use their materials (from home) and creativity to design a Haunted House Train Ride with as many drops, jolts, and direction changes as possible. The vocabulary covered will be: slope, velocity, and gravity. 
The class will begin engaging in a brief discussion about modern roller coasters and the vocabulary. The students will then draw pictures to brainstorm how they want to create their haunted house. After, students will share their ideas with their peers. They will begin designing and decorating their ride for the majority of the session. Finally, they will share their design and state what they would've done differently, what was fun, and what was challenging. Students will have the entire class to interact with others and be hands-on! There is no prior knowledge to attend this class.
