Halloween Piano Performance Concert in Costume
What's included
1 live meeting
25 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
This one-time class is an opportunity to come and play some piano performance pieces in a concert format and dress up in your Halloween costume. Students will have the chance to volunteer to share their costume and play pieces that we have worked on in previous classes or that they have practiced on their own. All piano players are welcome including Mrs. Pauli's current Piano Music Class series students or learners who take lessons from other instructors' classes or privately. Performers have the option to volunteer as many times as they want during the class while taking turns with other learners rotationally. All levels of learners benefit from the chance to practice for a concert and perform for others.
Learning Goals
Learners have the opportunity to have a goal date to practice pieces for performance. Learners will also be introduced to performance etiquette like introducing themselves, announcing their song choices, and applauding other performers.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Masks are welcome, however, masks should be removed for identification during the first four minutes of class to meet safety and privacy policies.
Please note that costumes will be vetted by the educator to ensure that they met Outschool standards (secular, age-appropriate, etc.)
Supply List
Learners will need access to their keyboard or piano and their music printed out or able to be pulled up on their own screen for the performance. Mrs. Pauli will not be sharing her screen for this class so learners can have the large window for their performances. Learners have the option of wearing a Halloween costume, dressing fancy, or casual for the concert.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
