Halloween Math Escape Room: Escape From the Black Lagoon for Ages 7 - 10
This one time class for students ages 7 - 10 will challenge students to solve a riddle by working together on a variety of math word problems. Once the riddle is solved, the cabin door opens and the group will escape the lagoon.

This one time Halloween themed class will challenge students to solve a variety of math problems, using an escape room format. Students will work together to find the hidden pictures in order to find the questions and solve the riddle. They must escape the room in 30 minutes. Math problems will involve a variety of concepts at the second and third grade level, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, data, time, money, and simple geometry. Students will be encouraged to interact with peers to solve the problems; teacher will ask guiding questions and offer possible strategies if the group is stuck.
