Halloween Math Escape Room: Escape From Halloween Hollow Ages 9 - 12
This one time class for students ages 9 - 12 will challenge students to solve a riddle by working together on a variety of math word problems. Once the riddle is solved, the magic portal opens and the group escapes the hollow.

This one time Halloween themed class will challenge students to solve a variety of math problems, using an escape room format. Students will work together to find hidden pictures in order to find the math questions and solve the riddle. They must escape the room in 30 minutes. Math problems are at fourth and fifth grade level and involve a variety of concepts, including all four operations, data, elapsed time, geometry, and financial literacy. Students will be encouraged to interact with peers to solve the problems; teacher will ask guiding questions and offer possible strategies if the group is stuck.
