This is a fun class which gives the learners an opportunity to wear their favorite Halloween costume and learn a spooky fun dance. Class Plan:- Introduction Show Your Costume (Children are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume; however they can still do the class without dressing up if they prefer) A 'Wicked' Warm Up Learn a Halloween-Themed Dance A 'Chilling' Cool Down Teaching Style:- I have a positive approach to teaching. I like to praise and encourage. When I'm speaking or have music playing I may keep the students muted so they are able to hear me/the music clearly but I will be interacting where applicable throughout. The pace of the class will reflect the learners in the class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn a Fun Halloween-themed Dance.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Space To Move:- Please ensure children have enough space to move around and remove anything they may bump into or knock down (e.g. your expensive vase!).
Class Attire:- Children are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween Costume; however please check that they are able to move freely in their costume as we will be learning a simple dance. Please also check that their footwear is suitable for your floor surface e.g. no slippery socks.
Halloween Theme Music:- If your child is scared by Halloween/Ghost music this will not be the class for them. The Halloween Dance routine is a Fun routine and I do not aim to 'scare' at all but I am aware some children do not like the mention of ghosts/witches/monsters etc.
Fitness:- Your child should be in a fit and healthy state. Please check with your doctor if you have any concerns.
