This class is a personalized series of guitar lessons which will target the the gaps in your playing. The lessons will also be designed to help you reach your musical goals ranging from singer/songwriter to a lead guitarist. Through my teaching at USC I have taught students that are touring the world with artist such as Olivia Rodrigo and Katy Perry. Topics Include Chords and chord theory Reading notes and rhythms Scales Music theory Learn classic and contemporary songs Analysis of song construction Rhythm playing Lead playing Learn to play different styles of music to enhance your skills Teaching Philosophy Experience has taught me that "consistency is the key to creativity". A little bit of focused practice everyday will make a huge difference in the retention of new information when learning a new skill. As little as ten minutes a day will yield great results.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have a Bachelors and a Masters degree from the USC Thornton School of Music. I am currently on the Faculty in the Guitar Department and the Popular Music Program at USC. I have been teaching there for the past fifteen years and some of my former students have gone on to play for Olivia Rodrigo, Katy Perry. and Gwen Stefani. I have toured the world and recorded with some of the biggest names in the industry including, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, and The Backstreet Boys. I have recorded on two Grammy winning albums and I am a Latin Grammy nominated producer. As a composer my music can be heard on Dora The Explorer, Teen Titans Go!, and TMZ.Reviews
