Other Details

Parental Guidance
If the student's goal consists of learning a song containing sensitive lyrics, I will communicate this to the parent and seek permission to continue before moving forward with that goal.
Supply List
The learner will need a guitar (acoustic, classical, or electric) and should have regular access to it between lessons. If the student's goals or plan consist of recording, they will need a device or other software to record. I suggest using whatever recording software is already available on any device from home such as GarageBand or Voice Memos. Another great option is using the free web-based recording software found at Soundtrap.com. These details can be discussed during or after the first lesson.

The acoustic or electric guitar is my primary instrument. I taught guitar while I was a middle school music teacher and I also taught privately during that time. My career in education began in 2016 and I have taught over 500 students in private lessons or online workshops.
