Guinea pigs are herd animals so it's important to let them live in pairs or more, but how do you get them to bond? They may seem like sweet, docile creatures, but when they meet a new potential friend, they can get very aggressive. We will discuss the ins and outs of bonding 2 guinea pigs of the same sex. Students will learn how to introduce two guinea pigs They will learn the sounds to listen for during the bonding process They will learn how to make sure their piggies are bonded and how to watch for any falling outs in the future. Students must be familiar with having guinea pigs to take this class. They need to either have been guinea pig owners that are confident in their care or have taken my Guinea Pig Care 101 class which I offer 2 or more times a month.
