Homework
There will be homework assigned each night. Students MUST complete the tasks in order to move the class forward. The homework will consist of having students read passages and respond to related comprehension questions to demonstrate their understanding of the skills and strategies taught.

GUIDED READING BASICS TWO  is a class that has been designed to teach, review and practice Reading Skills that are embedded within reading passages that students read on a daily basis. This is a continuation of the  Guided Reading Basics One course, and the foci will be placed upon skills whereby the student must deconstruct and then reconstruct text to derive their answers.  This will afford the student an opportunity to delve deeper into practicing the necessary and most needed reading skills that they will use for life.  Students will find this PP Slide presentation and workbook  course is a useful addition and great help towards achieving  and meeting common core standards.
