This is a preschool music and storytime class in a print-rich and prop-filled environment. Students are encouraged to bring their monkey toy, book, or other related object to class for show and tell. Each student will be given individual time to show their monkey to the class, and I'll show them a monkey card with their name on it. I'll ask them about their name and the first letter or sound of their name.  Then we'll check in with our emotions and feelings. We'll briefly discuss our feelings using emotion cards. After the welcome and introductions, we'll sing a 'hello' song. I'll introduce and read the story, "Grumpy Monkey", which will include lots of questions and predictions. We will then get up on our feet and move our bodies to a song called, Monkey See, Monkey Do. To close the class, We'll sing a simple 'goodbye' song.
