Group Time for Little Learners With Mrs. Ines (September - May)
This is a 4 week class for preschool children (ages 3-6) looking for a fun Group Time experience as taught in my Montessori classes. We work on numbers, sounds, stories & singing plus weekly sharing time! It’s ongoing so come join the fun!

Group Time will consist of calendar, a focus sound, daily songs & a story time! There will be lessons on numerals & phonics. We'll be learning some sight words as well! (*more info down below* :) SEPTEMBER- Geography - Land, Air, Water ~ Parts of the Earth ~ Hemispheres Botany - Trees focus on Parts of the Apple Science - seasons changing Author of the month -Eric Carle Art - Elements of Art (line) OCTOBER- Geography-intro to 7 continents Botany- Pumpkins Zoology- Mammals - bats (& spiders) Science- Anatomy - skeleton Author of the Month- Tomie Depaola Holiday fun- Halloween JANUARY Geography- Africa (with an emphasis on Egypt) Zoology- Fish Author- Jan Brett Cultural History- Martin Luther King ( with an emphasis on kindness) FEBRUARY Geography- Asia (with an emphasis on China) Zoology- Frogs Author- Mo Willems Science- teeth (it's Dental month) Cultural Science- Groundhog's Day, Chinese New Year, President's Day, Valentine's Day MARCH Geography-Europe Science- Weather Zoology- Turtles Author- Dr. Seuss Cultural Science- St. Patrick's Day APRIL Geography- Australia Botany- Gardening Zoology-Australian Animals Author- Mem Fox Cultural Science- Easter, April Fools Day, Earth Day MAY Geography-South America Botany-Parts of the flowers Zoology-Animals of the Rainforest Author- Judy Schachner Monday Classes will have Calendar, Songs, author of month books. Tuesday Classes will have Calendar, Songs, & Stories focused on Botany/Zoology. Wednesday Classes will have Calendar, Songs, Stories plus lessons on Geography. Thursday Classes will have Calendar, songs, story time & lessons on Math / Phonetics! We will work on learning the days of the week on my calendar. Also counting up to 30 & phonemic sounds! We will isolate sounds & beginning some fun reading skills. I have a monthly outline with fun topics to work with. Expect each month to have an Author of the Month, a Science component, Botany & Zoology as well. Plus I’ll have ideas for easy art projects too! I use my Montessori background to make this special group time fun & engaging!

Hi Everyone! I’m Ines Patterson or Mrs. Ines to my little friends. And I love preschool! I have been teaching preschool in some capacity for over 25 yrs now. I’m Montessori Trained & I love reading stories. As for what I’m teaching on Outschool..My goal is to get the preschool child comfortable with a Group Time. While having fun learning! Fun Fact about me is I’m also a homeschooling momma & have been doing that for the past 10 yrs. As you can see, education is very important to me.
