This class is designed for the space enthusiast, learners who are interested in space, have some knowledge about space, or wants to learn and practice space science related skills. Objective: To introduce young learners to the wonders of space through fun and engaging discussions, activities, and interactive resources. Learners will discover fascinating facts about space and there will be plenty of opportunities to promote talk as you look through the information and reading material with its attractive pictures and enticing text. Learn about and discuss the 8 big planets (4 terrestrial and 4 gas), the 5 dwarf planets, and the different possibilities of meteoroids, asteroids, and beyond. I will always encourage an educational discussion and promote curiosity with the students. I will lead the discussion but will also ask their thoughts on what we're learning throughout the class. Whether it's a one-on-one class or a group environment, my number one goal of every session is to inspire a love of learning new things. This is a highly interactive class, designed to follow learners’ curiosity, develop skills, and explore space science topics through discussion and hands-on activity. There is no prerequisite. Lesson Flow: Example Introduction Topic - Introduce learners to the broad concept of space, space exploration, and the amazing things humans have discovered about the cosmos. Discussion What is space? Are you an astronomer? What do you want to learn about space? Interactive Activity Interactive Web to show constellations or planets visible from Earth. Wrap-Up & Q&A Summarize the key points discussed and ask what excites them most about space.
Learning Goals

Phonics is an approach to teaching reading and writing that involves teaching students the association between sounds and the letters that represent them. My Phonics classes are DfE validated full systematic, synthetic phonics program, a way of teaching the building blocks of the English language. The scheme builds and develops the skills and understanding children need to become effective, independent readers and writers. An extensive library of fully-decodable, diverse & dynamic books are also part of the curriculum. It is designed for native or non-native English speakers.
How is literature used in second language teaching?
Literature can make the teaching of a language more fun. It introduces different parts of grammar and sentences in an interactive way. We can talk about interesting topics, encourage students to express their points of view and introduce in depth and current topics.
