Class Experience

In this class, the preschoolers will learn about their bodies and how to move them. We will use the power of music, dance, and play to learn in a fun and imaginative way.  

My teaching style is to use short activities in rotation in order to keep the children engaged.  I try my best to read the energy level and responses of the students in order to decide if a particular activity is suitable for them at the moment. 

I use age-appropriate music selected from the Learning Station, Disney movie soundtracks, and Kidz Bop.  

During class, students will be muted. This helps with the sound quality and for the video to always be on the teacher so everyone can view the steps at all times. There will be limited verbal interaction between students.  Towards the end of class, they’re welcome to ask questions and say hello to each other.

*Great option for those that homeschool looking for arts or P.E. option as it fulfills all of the requirements for P.E. standards.  Also great for those looking for extra-curricular or weekend activities!

There is no previous experience needed for this class.

Parental Guidance
I require caretakers to be fully present during the class but also allowing the toddler space to learn as independently as possible. I recommend a yoga mat or carpeted area. The main concern is slipping on hard floors such as tile or hardwood. For safety purposes, please make sure the area is free of sharp objects or corners in the case of a fall during balancing poses. Please keep an easy access water bottle nearby during class. You can count on us taking quick sips in between activities.
Supply List
Students are asked to wear clothing comfortable to move in.  For example shorts, leggings, joggers, t-shirts, etc.  Please no skirts, dresses, or oversized clothing.  No shoes or socks are required.
