In this 8-week course, students will learn to identify 50 basic grammar vocabulary terms and practice identifying them in sentences. They will practice diagramming sentences to further develop their skill in breaking down sentences

Assessment
The final exam will consist of grammar terminology, sentence combining, correcting sentence errors, and sentence diagramming.

Intermediate Level
Become a better self-editor with Groove with Grammar!  Each lesson will begin with a slideshow presentation giving definitions and explanations of the grammar topic for the day.   We will complete practice exercises together and individually, discuss questions about the topic, and end with a game or written activity to reinforce the concept. In the end,  each student should know about fifty grammar terms, correct common sentence errors, and diagram both a compound and complex sentence.

This course is fast-paced and designed for students who love writing and want to become a better self-editor and writer.
Pre-Requisites
Students should be able to read at the fourth-grade level and write a complete sentence.
Supply List
Weekly handouts will be provided for students. They will need pencils and erasers. Scratch paper may come in handy.
