In this mythical tale, learners will hear about Hercules and how he fought and triumphed against the metal feathered Stymphalian Birds.

Class experience

US Grade 4 - 6
Students will learn about Hercules, Eurystheus, Copreus, Ares, Athena, Hera, Zeus, and Hephaestus.  Students will be encouraged to speak, ask questions, and be questioned themselves with a focus on comprehension skills and critical thinking.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The Spymphalian Birds are a ferocious and deadly flock of man eating beasts.  Their beaks are made of bronze and their metallic feathers could be fired upon their prey like razor sharp throwing knives.
