In this Mythological slug-fest, students will learn how Hercules bested the monstrous three-headed giant Geryon and claimed his prized cattle.

When a student takes this class they can expect a fun and interactive journey through the tale of how Hercules fought and quickly triumphed over Geryon then painstakingly struggled to drive his cattle back to Eurystheus. Class will first begin with a short meet-and-greet. Once acquainted, we will delve into a dramatic telling of some of Hercules' exploits. Students will learn about Hercules, Eurystheus, Copreus, Poseidon, Medusa, Geryon, Callirhoe, Oceanus, Tethys, Chrysaor, Pegasus, Orthus, Cerberus, Helios, and King Eryx. Students will be encouraged to speak, ask questions, and be questioned themselves with a focus on comprehension skills and critical thinking.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
