30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Class will begin with student introductions about themselves and their interests in Greek mythology. After introductions, we will begin playing! It is imperative that each student has a Bingo template (provided below) either printed out or on a tablet where they can draw on it. I will provide clues to a famous Greek god, hero, or person and it is up to each student to figure out who I am talking about. I will repeat each clue twice to ensure every student hears and understands me. Having some knowledge about Greek mythology would be beneficial. Once a student gets "bingo", we will check their answers and play again!
Learning Goals
The goal of this class is to have fun and test their knowledge about Greek mythology!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
All of my material is age appropriate, however there are some violent and tragic stories in Greek mythology. I do not plan on going over any violent or tragic myths but please be aware that it may be mentioned by a student. I have taught many Greek mythology classes and this has never been an issue but wanted to make parents aware of the possibility.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been fascinated with ancient cultures since I was a child. My parents encouraged me to follow my passion throughout my life. As part of my education learned the Ancient Greek language and studied the impact Ancient Greeks had on the world then and now. I have my minor in Greek Classical History as well as my Masters in archaeology and work in the field that I love. It is now my turn to pass on my passion to another group of kids. I have traveled to archaeological sites throughout Europe, from the Coliseum in Rome to Ephesus in Turkey. I studied abroad in Istanbul, Turkey giving me the opportunity to visit sites and museums with more Greek artifacts than Greece itself. I have the educational background to teach students about Greek mythology and the privilege to see first-hand how the Greeks portrayed these immortals in their everyday life. The traveling I have done will draw the imagination and awe of young minds into the game and my practical knowledge will answer any questions the students may have!
