Graphic Design in Star Wars
Within this 4-part, online class your padawan will learn the principles of design, typography, and color theory at work within Star Wars. We will also discuss their favorites from films to games.
Class Experience
Beginner Level
Throughout this class, we will discuss graphic design principles at work in Star Wars and how they were leveraged to create the fictional galaxies we grew to love. We will cover different material each week to keep students interested, however, the prior week's information is not essential to learning, so new students can join at any time. - Students will gain beginner knowledge of graphic design, typography, color theory, and branding within the fun setting of a galaxy far, far away. I also hope they will make friends because Star Wars friends are the best!
From trading cards to Star Wars stocks and Halloween costumes- I have been a Star Wars fan since I was 7 years old and have been a graphic designer for more than 20 years.
A love for Star Wars and interests in Graphic Design, Fonts, and Color Theory.
Learners should have a note pad and pen It is helpful if they also jot down which star wars film is their personal favorite and a favorite memory they have of the films, but these are not required.
I only use images, examples, and short-length video clips that are TV G-rated.
