Do YOU have what it takes to survive 5 Nights at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza using only your grammar skills? In this one-time escape room experience, students will learn about basic parts of speech and apply their knowledge to unlock clues and escape. This class engages students with 5 teacher-led mini lessons, followed by an escape room clue that can only be solved through the skills presented in the corresponding lesson. Students will work together using live Zoom discussions and the Zoom chat feature to solve each clue. The teacher will be there to teach each lesson, guide the students, and provide hints when needed. Parts of Speech Covered: Clue 1: Nouns Clue 2: Action Verbs Clue 3: State-of-Being Verbs Clue 4: Adjectives Clue 5: Adverbs Final Clue: Putting it all together! **Please note: Escape Room length and experience will vary based on the individual class. Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been teaching English and writing to students from middle to graduate school for over 20 years. I've helped students write essays, research papers, SAT essays, college application essays, and even edited PhD dissertations. One of my greatest joys is to break down the (seemingly) daunting task of grammar usage and writing into small, manageable, and easy-to-understand steps. Everyone can write, and it's my job to show them how!
