Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 6
The summer break can have both positive and negative impacts on student learning. An extended break from academic activities can lead to learning loss or a decline in certain skills and knowledge.

Taking this review before your child's return to school in the fall will help address this potential learning loss. This class will provide an opportunity for students to: refresh their understanding of key concepts, reinforce skills, and bridge any gaps in their knowledge. Classes will alternate language arts and math to offer multiple opportunities for academic enrichment. Review classes also serve as a transition period, allowing students to mentally adjust to the academic environment after a long break. The planned agenda is as follows:

Class 1: Language Arts Review
- Reading comprehension exercises
- Vocabulary development and word study
- Grammar review (parts of speech, sentence structure)

Class 2: Mathematics Review
- Operations with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions
- Problem-solving strategies and word problems
- Introduction to algebraic thinking

Class 3: Language Arts Review
