Learners will be introduced to the properties of the various two-dimensional shapes and the perimeter and area formulas. They will build understanding of the Pythagorean Theorem and the geometrical transformations. This is an Introductory level Geometry module. My teaching approach is interactive and engaging, aiming to make the learning experience enjoyable and effective. GeoGebra is an educational tool used for graphing functions on a coordinate grid and for constructions and measurement in Geometry.
It is recommended that students create an account, however, this is not required.
Teacher frequently shares the GeoGebra screen; Students can practice graphing calculator or geometry construction without having an account; an account is needed to save work online and retrieve it later.
