I will restrict Google Earth locations I screen share to be appropriate for children to the best of my abilities. While I can’t control how students are using the program at home, it may comfort you to know that Google Earth has several regulations in place to protect users that are under 18. 
Google Workspace for Education users under the age of 18 can't:
Access features that require payments
Create public posts, such as comments and reviews
Participate in Local Guides
Turn on Location History for their Google Workspace for Education account
