Join me, a certified, experienced successful dog trainer and teacher in this virtual class in which we will go into great depth on living with and handling a misbehaving pet. Teaching him potty training and to sit-stay with duration and distractions.Week 2Lesson 2Down, Down-stay, leave it/take it. Stopping your dog from digging and barking.My lesson is about teaching your dog to lie down, leave treats. Stopping your dog from digging and barking.Week 3Lesson 3Stopping your dog from begging. Recall command, Walking nicely on a leash.My lesson is about how to stop your dog from begging. Also, teaching your dog recall to come when called. Also, walking nicely on a leash.Week 4Lesson 4Stopping your dog from jumping on people and furniture, Sitting nicely.My lesson is about stopping your dog from jumping. Teaching him to sit nicely for petting.
This class is taught in English.
- Students will improve their understanding in how to manage a dog to help them behave within a family social situation. They will learn the 10 commandments of good dog behavior, basic obedience skills and how to manage jumping, digging, chewing and potty training in dogs.
Teacher is an experienced Elementary School Teacher, Certified Dog Trainer, AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator and Tester Observer with Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

Frequency: includedFeedback: includedDetails: Students will need to practice with their dog at least 15 to 20 minutes per day in training their dog. The dog will not become trained from the videos being watched.
This class will support all learners as it has visuals, charts, audio and is self-paced.
Learners should have a dog they want to train, but it is not required. This class covers beginning skills.
Dogs are unpredictable and require space for training. Teacher uses positive methods.
AKC Website, various dog training books can be recommended upon request.
