Beginner Level
Join me, a certified, experienced successful dog trainer and teacher in this virtual class in which we will go into great depth on living with and handling a misbehaving pet. The class will cover the 10 commandments of good dog behavior, as well as all beginning obedience skills; sit, down, stay, and leave it/take it. In addition, we will address specific problem areas such as jumping on people or furniture, begging for food, chewing, digging, barking and potty training. Each week, we will cover a topic and learn 2 dog obedience skills. I will give information in written form and video by modeling the skill with my dog. Each week, I will introduce 2 new skills and dog behaviors. Students should have a relationship with dog and be able to make them sit for at least 5 seconds.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding in how to manage a dog to help them behave within a family social situation. They will learn the 10 commandments of good dog behavior, basic obedience skills and how to manage jumping, digging, chewing and potty training in dogs.

My lesson is about teaching how you how to make your dog a good canine citizen. Teaching him potty training and to sit-stay with duration and distractions.

Dogs are unpredictable and require space for training. Teacher uses positive methods.
Pre-Requisites
Learners should have a dog they want to train, but it is not required. This class covers beginning skills.
