In this one-time class children will dance, children will have shadow matching sheet, paint a jar and I will read “The Freckle Fairy," by Bobbie Hinman. My class is engaging, fun and interactive I involve all my learners in my class. Your child can dress up as a fairy if they like with wings and a magic wand, but not necessary. We will start class with a brief introduction and will dance to a short video, "The fairies." I will share facts about a fairy. and children will color a fairy I will provide a printout. If you are unable to print, please have your learner ready with paper and markers for drawing. Children will paint dots in a jar with glow in the dark paint. I will use Manycam to display fairies upon the screen to keep learners engaged we will end class with a story. All children are welcomed and accepted in my class no prior knowledge is necessary bring your love of fairies and magic. I look forward to seeing your little learner in my Outschool classroom!

Hello, my name is Anna Contreras, I am a preschool teacher with twenty-five years’ experience. I have experience working with older children six to ten years old as a teacher assistant. I have two degrees, a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and an Associate Degree in Education.
My educational belief is every child has a right to a safe learning environment. As a teacher it is my responsibility to be a positive influence on children's love of learning and to foster their self-esteem. I love working with children, I am animated, silly, and fun which keeps children engaged and interested. In my experience children learn through laughter and silliness.
Teaching tools I use are puppets, music, games, dance, musical instruments, I also use Manycam to display pictures on screen to engage children learning process. Classes I hope to teach on Outschool include early literacy, math and science, arts and crafts, nursery rhymes, music, and dance.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband and I have two adult sons, a daughter-in-law and four grandchildren. I love spending time with my two dogs, Marley, and Bella. I enjoy TikTok and learning new dances with my granddaughters.Reviews
