The Globe Trotters Social Club (GTSC) is an open forum, interactive group designed to foster community and connection through a shared experience of travel. Each meeting will be fully moderated and will open with a brief introduction by the instructor. Following the introduction, the session will be centered around student sharing and engagement. Each session will have an overarching framework to spur participation, and will focus on giving students maximum opportunities to share their experiences with each other. The ultimate goal of the sessions is to help build friendships and give students an opportunity to share the joys and the trials of traveling. 

Class structure: 
1. Opening ~5 minutes: Introduce new students. Check ins: Where in the world are you? Icebreaker games. 
2. ~10 Minutes: Student volunteer opportunity to share exciting recent adventures. 
3. Final ~15 Minutes: Moderated Open Discussions amongst students.

We encourage students to be as active and engaged as they can during sessions as this will help build friendships and community amongst participants. A student will never be forced to share during a session.
