Learn the mindset necessary to receive feedback effectively, along with strategies for giving feedback in a clear, succinct and generous way.
Class experience
In this 60 minute, interactive class, students will learn how to ask for feedback, view feedback as a positive vs negative experience and also learn a four step strategy for giving feedback effectively. I believe in active learning, so we will do quite a bit of practice with the concepts we cover and students will interact with one another through group discussions and sharing of ideas. No previous experience required.
Students will learn how to see feedback as a positive vs. a negative thing. They will also learn a four step strategy for giving feedback including a Micro Yes, Data Point, Impact and Question. Students will practice this four step strategy with scenarios provided by the teacher as well as scenarios they come up with as a group.
