This is a one-time class opportunity for girls to make friends, practice talking in front of a group, and learn to paint their nails in the process!

What girl doesn't like to talk, gossip, and paint their nails? This class covers all of this! We will start by covering some of the basics of nail painting- what supplies are needed and the process. Then we will paint our nails in class (with demonstration from me) using these steps, and learning tips and tricks along the way. While we paint our nails, we will talk about us! I will have ice breaker questions that I will ask the students to get them talking. These questions will be on a slideshow, along with the nail painting process. I will share information about myself as well to make the students feel comfortable talking about themselves. No prior experience required.
Learning Goals
By the end of the class, girls will know how to paint their nails, or nails of others. They will also learn some special tips and tricks to painting their nails. They will also feel more comfortable speaking in front of a group.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Topics that will be discussed along with the nail painting process will include things like summer vacation plans, favorite things (food, school subjects), and hobbies.
Each question will be answered in a round robin fashion. Each student will get a chance to speak/converse and answer the questions to get the practice and feel for speaking in front of a group.
Supply List
The student will need: base coat, color of their choice, and top coat. Nail polish remover, Q-tips, cotton balls, nail files are encouraged but optional.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

While I do not have formal training, much research has been done on the process, the correct steps, and the correct tools to use. I enjoy looking for new ways to paint and design my nails.
