Students will continue to develop skills in artistic expression and artistic decision making. Students will be introduced to collage techniques.Class Experience
At the beginning of class, we will do some introductions to get to know each other a little bit before we start the lesson. Then, learners will create artwork of an giraffe. Not only will they make their own artwork, but learners will also be introduced the paper collage technique called an accordion fold. This lesson will be taught in a directed drawing style to aid those who are not confident in their skills yet. However, after the learners have completed the steps demonstrated, the students will be encouraged to make their art unique and personal to them.

Parental Guidance
Students will need to be comfortable with scissors. Those who are not comfortable will need adult help.
Supply List
Yellow paper, colored paper of choice for background (green suggested), pencil, black marker, black crayon, scissors, glue
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
