In this 2 day winter break camp, learners will learn basic giftwrapping skills and how to make tags and embellishments for the perfectly presented gift that everyone will want! Day 1: Getting the Basics down Learn how to measure, cut and fold paper, placement of tape and finishing the ends. Day 2: Embellishments Learn to add fun bows, adding extras to make your gift special and creating gift tags This camp is designed to be interactive, and hands-on. Students are encouraged to ask questions and share final wrapped gifts.
Learning Goals
Students will practice measuring and cutting skills. They will practice following directions. Learners will use design skills and imagination to create a perfectly wrapped gift.

Students will be using scissors so parents may want to monitor.
Supply List
Boxes to wrap gift paper paper , card stock or brown paper bags to make gift tags scissors tape ribbon, yarn, twine stickers, greenery, pom poms etc that you might like to use for decorations markers, crayons glus

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I follow a Charlotte- Mason/Waldorf inspired teaching philosophy and love teaching poetry, literature and handcrafts such as cross stich, embroidery, sewing and crochet. I am also passionate about tea and poetry tea times for a variety of age groups.
