We will use the Heggerty curriculum to practice letter names, sounds, rhyming, and isolating sounds in words.

Does your kindergartener need to learn a few letters? Do they need to learn a few sounds? Practice rhyming? We will use action, visual cues, and vocal class participation to improve phoneme awareness. This class will use the kindergarten Heggerty curriculum. Each class will practice 8 phonemic awareness skills, 1 letter name and letter sound recognition activity, and 1 language awareness activity developing an understanding of words, sentences, and learning nursery rhymes. I have used this curriculum to assist students to get ready to read while having fun. Students may join the class at any time!!
