In this six class math camp I will review the foundational skills necessary to begin middle school math including fractions, decimals, algebraic properties, integers, the coordinate plan and simple equations.

In this review class we will cover the skills your student should be familiar with to begin Pre-Algebra. Each class will be interactive with a teacher lead review and student practice. I will provide formatted notes that should be printed out for each class and an optional practice sheet with an answer key for each class. The topics that will be covered are: Day 1 - Numerical expressions, factors and exponents Day 2 - Operations with fractions and decimals Day 3 - Algebraic expressions and properties Day 4 - Ratio and rates Day 5 - Integers and the coordinate plane Day 6 - Equations and inequalities
Learning Goals
The students will refresh their understanding of the mathematic prerequisite skills needed for Pre-Algebra.

Parental Guidance
Students should have completed 5th and 6th grade mathematics.
Supply List
Students should have: Printed notes (provided) a pencil A whiteboard (optional) for extra practice if time allows
