In this 5 day long class, students will review 4th grade skills that they will need for 5th grade math as well as learn foundations of 5th grade math. Day 1- We will warm up our brains with multiplication fluency. We will work on place value, expanded form, and the relationship between place values (__ is 10 times as much as 400). Day 2- We will warm up our brains with division fluency. We will work on dividing decimals to the power of 10 ( 45,748 divided by 100). Day 3- We will warm up with counting money. Using money to multiply decimals. Day 4- We will warm up with multiplying by multiples of 10. We will work on 2 digit times 1 digit and 2 digit times 2 digit multiplication. Day 5- We will warm up with division with remainders. We will work on long division.

Students will need paper and pencil or white board and marker for each class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
