If you're learner loves to move and create, this is the space for them! In this class, we will explore using our imaginations to bring stories to life onstage. We will begin class with a vocal and physical warm up, which typically consists of tongue twisters, songs, and light stretching/dancing. We will play classic theatre games like "What Are You Doing?", "Giving A Gift," and "Cross the Floor As If..." that encourage learners to suspend their disbelief and show their audience the given circumstances. Students will learn how to speak confidently in front of a group and how to bring characters to life using their facial expressions, voice, and physicality.
Learning Goals
Students will learn vocal and acting technique in order to properly project. They will also learn confidence and collaboration from working with other students. Our main focus in class is to break down as walls that may have them feeling shy or unsure!

Parental Guidance
We will be be participating in light movement. Parental Guidance is only suggested if you wish to observe.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
