New to Outschool? Use refer code AjQtcy90 to save $20 on ANY class!✨ The code AjQtcy90 can be used for any class, any educator (does not even have to be with me!) for first-time learners on Outschool. In this comprehensive physics and mathematics class, learners will explore the core concepts of both subjects in an engaging and supportive environment. We’ll cover key mathematical topics ranging from algebra to calculus, and dive into fascinating physics areas including mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics. This class focuses on building strong analytical and problem-solving skills, making it perfect for students who want to strengthen their knowledge or prepare for exams with confidence. What will be taught? Students will learn foundational concepts in physics such as motion, forces, energy, electricity, magnetism, and waves. In mathematics, instruction will cover algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and introductory calculus, depending on each learner’s level. What topics will you cover? Topics will vary by class session but may include: Physics: Newton’s Laws, energy transformations, electric circuits, magnetic forces, temperature and heat, and more. Mathematics: Algebraic expressions, functions, derivatives, integrals, trigonometry, and geometric principles. How is your class structured? Each session begins with a short introduction or review, followed by interactive explanations and guided examples. Learners will then practice problems independently or in groups, with real-time feedback provided. The structure balances direct instruction with active participation to reinforce understanding. How will you teach? I use slides, visual aids, real-world examples, and occasional video demonstrations to explain concepts clearly. Lessons are interactive, with regular opportunities for students to work through problems and ask questions. Active participation is encouraged to help learners stay engaged and build confidence. What’s your teaching style? My teaching approach is student-centered, friendly, and highly interactive. I simplify complex ideas using step-by-step explanations and relatable examples. I aim to create a positive, low-pressure atmosphere where students feel comfortable exploring new concepts and making mistakes as part of the learning process. How much will learners get to interact with you? Students will interact with me consistently throughout the class via live discussions, Q&A sessions, collaborative problem-solving, and activities like quizzes or mini challenges. This ensures learners stay involved and receive plenty of individual support. This course is designed to make learning both math and physics accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful—helping students build a deep understanding while having fun along the way.
Learning Goals
Explore practical applications of physics and mathematics through hands-on examples and engaging experiments.
Gain a solid understanding of essential physics concepts, including Newton’s Laws of Motion, energy conservation, electricity, magnetism, and wave dynamics.
Other Details
Learning Needs
This class supports different learning styles with clear visuals, step-by-step guidance, and a flexible pace. I create a welcoming space for students with ADHD, Dyslexia, or ASD to feel confident and engaged.
Parental Guidance
This class will involve some basic demonstrations and discussions of real-world physics concepts, such as electricity and magnetism, which may include visual simulations of electrical circuits and magnetic fields. These topics are generally safe but may require careful handling when performing hands-on experiments. Any online tools or videos used will be age-appropriate, and no accounts will be required to participate. Families are encouraged to reach out if they have any concerns or need further clarification.
Language of Instruction
English (Level: Pre-A1)
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Physics and Mathematics, which has provided me with a deep understanding of the core concepts in both subjects. I have extensive experience teaching complex topics like Newton's Laws, energy conservation, algebra, and calculus in both formal and informal settings. Over the past few years, I have taught high school students and younger learners, helping them prepare for exams and improve their problem-solving skills.
I’ve also had the opportunity to work with children in various educational environments, including tutoring students in math and science, organizing workshops, and teaching interactive lessons through platforms like Outschool. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging classroom where every student feels comfortable learning at their own pace while tackling challenging material.
I am passionate about making physics and math fun and accessible for all learners, encouraging curiosity, and helping students build confidence in their abilities.
