Learners may need paper and pencil to draw and/or take notes. They will also receive flash cards with the new vocabulary that can be printed out each week.
Young learners may need parental help to access the Outschool classroom, the youtube videos or canva videos, or to download the materials. Learners will make their own videos and drawings to present themselves that need to be uploaded into the classroom. You may also use a computer program such as Word, Google Document, or Canva to make a PDF to upload. This is up to the family's preferences. Parents should be aware that we will be using youtube/canva videos in this class to watch the tutorial. Learners might also use Kahoot! for an interactive quiz challenge. Instructions will be given in the classroom.
