Geography Explorers: Let’s Explore New Countries While Traveling the World
Each week we will visit 2-3 neighboring countries as we travel the world. We will learn the geographic location, climate, culture, food, fun facts, and a lot more. We will play games, color and create, and chat while we explore new lands.

This is an ongoing class, so you can start and stop at any time! Class begins the week of 3/21/22 Grab your suitcase and passport, and let's head off for a fun-filled adventure. Each week, we will meet on a continent and learn all about 2-3 neighboring countries. Your learner will be provided with a weekly handout keepsake to color all things related to the countries of the week: flag, food, etc. These can be added to a notebook or folder to make a travel book for your learner. Some topics discussed are: Where is the country located? What special geographical features does it have? What is the weather/climate? What does a countries flag look like? What do they eat? Are there any special cultural activities or customs? Each class is presented through a highly visual slideshow presentation. We will take breaks to play games, sing songs, color flags, and more. Your learner will stay busy and engaged throughout class. Countries Week of 3/21-25 Great Britain: England, Scotland, Wales, N. Learning Goals
Students will learn where a country is located, special geographical features, weather/climate, flags, food, and culture and customs as we travel from continent to continent exploring the world.

Each week you will be sent a PDF to print. Bring your crayons or markers to color things on the handout as we progress through our countries.
