Geography Class: Let's Travel to Peru!

Come on an adventure with me and explore Peru!
I think it's important that children learn about the world around them. It helps them understand and appreciate others. Every country is unique and interesting to learn about. I was lucky enough to travel to three countries in South America, one of them being Peru. 

In this one-time class, students will learn basic information about this beautiful country. They will learn where this country is on the world map. They will also learn about language, currency, animals, landmarks, and food.

This is a discussion-based class and learners are encouraged to share what they know and make connections. 
Students will be provided with a handout that they can complete during class (mostly colouring). The handout is optional. I will be using a slideshow presentation to show images and videos.

This is a perfect class for learners to take if they are interested in my ongoing geography club. 

Because this is a discussion-based class, students will be left unmuted unless there is a lot of background noise.
