Come join us for this entertaining one time class where learners dive into the nautical world to learn some of the navigation and map skill basics as well as get some practice using those skills on the map of the United States. Students will be introduced to the compass rose, learn how to use it to determine the location of places on a map, and practice finding "treasures" based on hints that require the use of the compass rose.
We will have so much fun locating our treasures that students won't realize they are learning!
⭐️ This is an introductory course, so students do not need prior map skills, but should have basic reading skills.Learning Goals
