In this Ongoing class, the learners take the roles of anthropomorphic animals in a fable of post-apocalyptic resistance to tyranny.
Class experience
The world...ended. Nobody knows how. The final war? A plague? Weather? All of the above? You are the survivors. Anthropomorphic animals. That is, half animal, half human. Dogs, cats, moose, rats walking on two legs, talking, thinking. Divided into tribes. For all your lives, you have lived protected in Paradise Valley- the last safe place in a wasteland of sickness. Or so the Watchers say. These machines say that they protect you from the hostile outside. But many have started to suspect...
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Foundry is virtual tabletop software. Learners use the link provided to access the virtual tabletop, which has their character sheets, the maps, and other gaming material, like diceroller etc. Learners do not need to set up an account to do so, nor do they need to provide Foundry with any information about themselves. The instructor controls who can access the virtual tabletop. The virtual tabletop can only be accessed when the instructor so allows.
