The specific topics covered will depend on the needs of your student. Book a time and begin a conversation with me about how we can use this hour to help your student achieve their growth goals. Suggested uses for the hour: 1. Ask your students classroom teacher what they think we should work on during this hour. 2. Single subject hour: Specific math concepts that need further explanation or review. Math for the entire hour. 3. Multiple subject hour. Spit the time between multiple subject, e.g. 30 minutes math, 30 minutes writing 4 Work on IEP goals. 5. Homework help.
Learning Goals
Students will finish each hour with an improved understanding of the subject and increased confidence in their ability to complete the task on their own.

Supply List
Parents, please let me know in advance what you would like your student working on by starting a conversation with me through Outschool. Your student should bring all associated classroom materials. Please also bring pencils, paper, classroom worksheets and any material you would like help with.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I have taught Special Education since 2008. I currently hold a Professional level Special Education license in the state of Oregon. My undergraduate degrees in Religious Studies and Philosophy are from the University of Oregon. My Master of Arts and Teaching, Special Education is from Pacific University, Oregon.
I believe every student can learn. I believe we learn best when we are engaged in high interest activities I hope students in my classes will enjoy a good story, fun games and movies, and be encouraged to ask questions, think critically and have a good conversation.
