Chemistry is one of the most challenging science courses for high school students. This 1-1 tutoring session is available to students on an as needed basis, and is great for students who may need more support with the concepts and calculations. This tutoring is for students in general chemistry courses, not in AP or IB chemistry. 

Students should come to each session prepared with the questions they would like to cover. I will discuss the content with them, refer to outside resources such as a short YouTube clip to illustrate concepts as needed, and work through problems with them step-by-step.

Please note: This is not a "do my homework for me" type of tutoring. The goal is for learners to build confidence in their own skills and be able to solve problems on their own. I provide a scaffolded approach and slowly ease learners into completing more of the problem independently with each successive problem in the session.
