US Grade 9 - 12
This class is a GED prep course in English, Science, and Social Studies. I have structured the class for High School grade level students reviewing for their GED, but younger students are welcome. This is not a class for them to learn these topics for the first time, but to cover them in a cram session with me. I have other longer, course style classes that teach these more in depth. My goal is to have students enroll and stay in the class for the full time to tackle topics that I have seen students struggle with as a review before taking their GED. I would advise to have your student schedule and test on the subject once we finish the crash course on that given subject. Then you can know where they stand on it. I will teach a lesson, have maybe a video for the lesson, discussion, trivia, and/or a mix of practice on the topic. Each week's layout will depend on the topic. I will provide materials for you to do at home, along with videos linked in the classroom after and I would advise to work on each topic weekly to fully cover and understand it. **Writing essays is not covered because I have various other classes covering that** Session dates and topics are listed in the syllabus. I have sessions begin in August running through to June and Jan running through to Oct or Nov. The full session takes a full two semesters to cover. ***Please note the following before you enroll: 1. Due to the fact many students learn differently, I use a mix of written information and videos. I also include some trivia questions in some weeks. 3. If you need to miss and want to save your spot, I offer 3 refunds per student over the full course so you do not lose a spot for missing, as long as approved with me previous. I offer refunds for missed classes, but I have guidelines on that: 1. If a makeup class is set by me, due to a class having to be moved, either in the same week or if it has been set in the schedule, you will not receive a refund. You can access recordings and all resources. 2. If you must miss class, you must ask for a refund before the day of class. If you ask on the day of class or after, no refund will be given due to all classes being recorded and accessible. 3. I only offer up to 2 refunds per course session.
Learning Goals
Students will leave each unit prepared to take their GED test on that topic and pass it. At the end, they should be able to pass all three major tests.

Google Drive is where you will access all my resources that will be shared with you. Google documents might come in handy if students want my feedback on things, but overall, nothing is needed. I do provide IXL practice links, but students do not need an account to use this. They can get 10 free questions daily for FREE. But if you want an account, it is a great resource for GED review on all grade levels.
