Are you interested in what's going on inside a plant? Have you ever thought about "Does it really matter if I want my plants in the morning versus the evening? If it's hot, doesn't that mean I need to water them?" Then this class is for you!! This is the first class of many gardening classes to come. Week 1: What's Going on Inside a Plant? Why is it better to water plants in the morning? Week 2: Composting & Vermiculture-- What can be composted? Why are worms good? Where do you put compost? Week 3: Bulbs and Seeds-- What's the difference? What's some examples? Week 4: Review & Discuss We will also be doing fun memorizing plant games, and students will be given optional worksheets or games to do for homework. --This is subject to change-- * I will be offering more gardening classes soon including topics on Annuals, Biennials, and Perennials; planting seeds for summer; planting bulbs for the fall; and more! *Also you can request a new time if you need a different time slot.
