** Dazzling Minds Academy always teaches to 1 student, if you DO NOT see students enrolled that means your child will be the only one in class. Our teachers do not mind, but I know sometimes students want to be with other students in the class. Please reach out if you have any questions**

CLASS EXPERIENCE:
        Welcome all Miners! In this Minecraft course, students will be gathered together to play Minecraft! This course will be in survival mode only. Students will be able to play on a private server created by the teacher to partake in basic survival and building skills such as, but not limited to, fighting mobs, making a house, and crafting materials. I will walk the students through on how to join my server and after that, they are free to create to their minds’ content! It is to be noted that commands and game rules will be in place to create a safe, fun environment. So come join me as we survive the world of Minecraft together!

HOW DO I KNOW THIS CLASS IS RIGHT FOR MY CHILD?
         This class is mainly for IMMEDIATE/ADVANCED players to socialize and have fun on my Minecraft Server. If your child has little to no experience with Minecraft, but would still like to join, please let the instructor know in advance so that they can make preparations before the class. This class can take place in SURVIVAL or CREATIVE mode, depending on the class’ opinions.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
        If your child has special accommodations or behavioral needs that need to be brought to my attention, please contact me via Outschool. You can do this by clicking on my name.
        My intention is to create a FUN and SAFE learning space for my students to learn what I am most passionate about, Minecraft! That being said, if there are ANY behavioral or learning accommodations I need to be aware of about your child, please do not hesitate to contact me and we will work together to ensure your child has the best time in my class!

HOW WILL YOU JOIN MY REALMS?
I will give the realms code once you’ve joined the zoom.
If the realms code does not work, I may need your gamertag, of which I will ask during the class.

REQUIRED SOFTWARE:
MINECRAFT BEDROCK EDITION (latest update 1.17)
ZOOM (please make sure it is the latest update)
A Microsoft Account, XBOX Live account, or PS account (depending on what you have)
Please ensure your student has multiplayer games allowed within their account settings
If on Nintendo Switch, you MUST have a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription.

Please message me privately through outschool to provide me with their gamer tag any day before the class day (24 hours before class is fine)

-students will need a multiplayer pass such as x-box live, PlayStation plus, Nintendo Switch Online to be able to join the server.

If an update is required, it is recommended to update 2 days prior in the event the update takes all day (sometimes it does) or you encounter technical issues with the new updates.

I recommend you have your device fully charged because Minecraft can eat away at your battery fast from consistent use.

Have ALL cameras on and working**
It is my job to ensure that the safety of the students is my TOP priority, that being said cameras are required to be ON to ensure I can monitor everyone properly and clearly.
